Alfie The Musical
Based on Bill Naughton’s classic morality tale and the Oscar-nominated movie starring Michael Caine. Alfie, with music by John Cameron, is a musical as timeless as Casanova and as universal as any love story.
The Story
It is the early 1960s, England.
Alfie, with an eye for the ladies, works as a photographer and later as a chauffeur. His goal is to make love to as many beautiful women as he can with no commitment or responsibilities.
But Alfie finds that life is not that simple, and he will have to take responsibility for his actions.

Reviews
★★★★
As for the women, Eden Phillips’s book and lyrics carefully provide space for the voicing of their sorrows.
Daily Telegraph
★★★★
An engaging and uplifting affair.
The Times
★★★★
John Cameron and Eden Phillips’s music and lyrics are made to measure for a musical that makes you feel blissed out.
The Watford Observer
★★★★
A gripping small-scale chamber musical that is almost as seductive on stage as Alfie is at juggling his female partners on the bed-sheets.
What’s On
The lyrics are witty, often risqué, and very funny.
